How to remix songs on garageband ipad. May 20, 2017 Original title: you don't have the permission to open this file. I updated my windows from windows 7 ultimate to windows 10. I have a file which was hidden in widows 7 after installing the new windows i got the message of ' You don't have the permission to open this file ' I did every thing I changed the ownership of the file and I ran the command prompt-SCANNOW. It will be nested below another icon with the same name. Click the Unlock button in the toolbar and enter your login password when prompted. Then quit Disk Utility to be returned to the main screen.

*The linked support article refers to OS X 10.9 ('Mavericks'), but the procedure is the same for OS X 10.7 ('Lion') and later.
